Rhapsody Chorus is a group of enthusiastic singers who meet in Peterborough to harmonise together. Members pride themselves on the high level of vocal skills they develop, the lifelong friendships they make and the support they offer each other.
Rehearsal nights are on Tuesdays from 7.15pm to 9.45pm at Ormiston Bushfield Academy.
Why do women sing with Rhapsody?
Every rehearsal is action packed, fun, challenging and always satisfying
We teach singing craft to a high level
We learn performance skills which are an integral part of the 'Barbershop Style' . These skills can also be used in our every day lives and in the workplace!
The chorus enters local and national competitions regularly throughout the year
There are many opportunities to sing in the local community, put on a Show, entertain friends and family, raise funds and enjoy social events with others members
Some members form quartets and many are actively involved with the chorus organisation.
Members are using and developing skills in choreography, costuming, public relations, catering, website development and vocal skills teaching.
Rhapsody chorus encourages the development of quartet singing. It can offer coaching to newly formed and novice quartets.
Many members have been in competing quartets over the years. Others members enjoy the opportunity to sing with 3 like-minded friends on a regular basis. Often the quartets sing at chorus events or other local venues.
